We get it – sometimes something doesn’t work for you and you want your money back. As long as an item is still in its original condition, we accept returns for free, subject to the rules below, including rules about fair use.
Nothing in this Returns Policy affects your statutory rights.
You have 28 days from the day of delivery or the day the order becomes available for collection at your nominated store or collection point to return an item to us for a refund. The refund will be issued to your original payment method.
We aim to refund you within 14 days of receiving the returned item.
If you wish to return an item, please contact us immediately, and we will be in touch to come up with a solution. please note that unless the item was damaged in delivery or missing, it would be your responsibility to pay for the return postage, and any refund will be at our discretion.
We are happy to refund a product if we receive it within 30 days of purchase.

If you want a refund because you changed your mind or made an accidental purchase, you will be responsible for paying the shipping costs to return the item before we issue the refund.
Just so you know, after we receive the item and approve a refund, it can take up to 14 days for it to appear in your bank.

We apologize for any inconvenience caused and will work swiftly to resolve the situation. Our customer service team will assess the reported missing items and arrange for their replacement or issue a refund for the missing items, based on your preference. If your package has been marked as delivered but you have not received it, please follow these steps:
Check the Tracking Information: Verify the tracking details provided to see if there are any updates or additional information.
Check with Neighbors: Sometimes, carriers may leave packages with neighbors. Check with them to see if your package was delivered to them by mistake.
Contact the Carrier: Reach out to the carrier (Post office) to inquire about the delivery status. They may be able to provide additional details or initiate a search for the missing package.
Contact Us: If you are unable to locate your package after taking the above steps, please contact us at Contact@horizonbookstore.com. We will assist you in resolving the issue and processing a refund or replacement if necessary.
Please be aware that we do not issue a refund for parcels you do not recieve if the incorrect address was added in the shipping details section on the checkout page.
If you have placed an accidental order, please get in touch with our customer service team immediately to cancel the order before it is processed for shipment. Once the order has been canceled successfully, we will issue a full refund to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that if the order has already been shipped, we will communicate a solution and refund if necessary, subject to our returns policy, but please note that return shipping costs will be the customer’s responsibility. We are very sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
If your package is lost in transit and has not been delivered within the expected timeframe, please contact us immediately. We will work with the shipping carrier to locate your package. If the package cannot be located and is deemed lost by the carrier, we will initiate a refund or replacement for the lost items.
To initiate the refund or replacement process for a lost in transit package, please contact our customer service team with your order details and tracking information. We will investigate the situation and provide you with further instructions on how to proceed.
Please allow up to 7 days for your parcel to arrive check the shipping policy for information on shipping and processing times as well as the order tracking form here using the tracking number provided in the order shipped confirmation email. This can also be found in the orders section on your account dashboard if you have set up an account with us.
Where we suspect fraudulent activity and/or we notice unusual or suspicious activity with your account, we might have to withhold issuing a refund and block your account and any associated accounts.
Such activity includes but is not limited to: claims relating to orders not being received, items missing, ordering and returning loads – way, waaay more than even the most loyal Horizon Bookstore customer would order; unusual patterns of reporting activity; where we suspect someone is reporting items missing from the order that were included.
Just so you know, returned items are your responsibility until they reach us, so please make sure they’re packed up properly and can’t get damaged on the way!
As the parcel remains your responsibility until it arrives back to us, please ensure that you get proof of postage in case you need to contact us about your return.
We’re not responsible for any items returned to us by mistake (it happens!). If we’re able to locate them (it’s not always possible) and you’d like them returned, we may ask you to cover the delivery cost.

We can only cancel an order if it hasn’t yet been processed. As we want to get your items to you speedily, we tend to process orders within a matter of hours, so this does limit our ability to cancel an order before this time.
