Surbhi Sarna is an accomplished entrepreneur, investor, and author. As the founder and former CEO of nVision Medical, she developed a ground-breaking microcatheter for early ovarian cancer detection. After raising $17 million in venture funding and obtaining FDA approvals, Sarna sold nVision to Boston Scientific for $275 million. Her entrepreneurial journey was inspired by a teenage cancer scare, fuelling her passion for healthcare innovation. Currently a partner at Y Combinator, Sarna focuses exclusively on healthtech, medical devices, and therapeutics investments. She serves on both private and public company boards, including Penumbra Medical and Biora. Sarna’s debut book, “Without a Doubt,” shares her experiences as a young, brown woman navigating the challenges of entrepreneurship and leadership without traditional credentials. She has been featured on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list and Inc.’s Female Founder 100 list.
