Janice Kaplan is an accomplished American author, journalist, and television producer. A graduate of Yale University, Kaplan has authored fifteen books, including the New York Times bestseller “The Gratitude Diaries” and her recent work “The Genius of Women”. Her career spans various media roles, including serving as the Editor-in-Chief of Parade magazine from 2007 to 2010, where she oversaw a circulation of 32 million.

Kaplan’s writing career began in sports journalism, and she published her first book, “Women and Sports,” shortly after graduating from Yale. She has since diversified her portfolio, writing both fiction and nonfiction. Her novels include “The Botox Diaries” and “Mine Are Spectacular,” while her nonfiction books explore themes of gratitude, luck, and women’s achievements.

In “The Gratitude Diaries,” Kaplan documents her year-long experiment in gratitude, examining how a positive outlook can transform various aspects of life, from relationships to careers.
