Author biography
Richard Fenton is a renowned sales expert, professional speaker, and bestselling author. With a passion for public speaking that began in childhood, Fenton launched his career as a professional speaker and author just before turning 40. He co-authored the bestselling book “Go for No! Yes is the Destination, No is How You Get There” with his wife and business partner, Andrea Waltz. Together, they speak to audiences worldwide about overcoming fear of failure and rejection, helping salespeople and entrepreneurs reframe their perspective on hearing “no.” Fenton’s background includes managing a restaurant at 17 and winning a Regional Toastmasters Speech competition in humor. He has been a member of the National Speakers Association since 1985 and was named Member of the Year for the NSA Oregon Chapter in 2010. When not writing or speaking, Fenton enjoys screenwriting and cheering for his beloved Chicago Cubs.
