Jocko Willink is a highly respected author, podcaster, and retired United States Navy officer known for his expertise in leadership and personal discipline. As a former Navy SEAL, Willink served with distinction, commanding SEAL Team 3’s Task Unit Bruiser during the Iraq War. His leadership in the Battle of Ramadi earned him the Silver Star and Bronze Star Medal, establishing his credibility as a leader and strategist. After retiring as a lieutenant commander, he co-founded Echelon Front, a leadership consulting firm, where he applies the principles he learned in combat to help organizations and individuals achieve success.
Willink’s journey from a Navy SEAL to a prominent author and speaker is marked by his ability to translate military leadership strategies into civilian applications. His experience in high-stakes environments inspired him to co-author several books, including the #1 New York Times bestseller Extreme Ownership: How U.S. Navy SEALs Lead and Win and The Dichotomy of Leadership, both written with fellow SEAL Leif Babin.
