W. Chan Kim is a distinguished professor of strategy and international management at INSEAD, where he co-directs the Blue Ocean Strategy Institute. He is the co-author of the global bestseller “Blue Ocean Strategy,” which has sold over 4 million copies and been translated into 46 languages. Kim’s groundbreaking work on creating uncontested market spaces has earned him numerous accolades, including being named the world’s most influential management thinker by Thinkers50 in 2019. Prior to INSEAD, he taught at the University of Michigan Business School and has advised multinational corporations and governments worldwide. Kim’s research on value innovation and nondisruptive creation has been published in top academic journals and featured in Harvard Business Review.
