Timi Ajiboye is a software developer and entrepreneur based in Lagos, Nigeria. He co-founded and currently runs BuyCoins (buycoins.africa), an exchange that allows Africans to easily buy and sell bitcoin with their local currency. Ajiboye’s journey into tech began at a young age when his uncle introduced him to Visual Basic programming. Despite initially taking this knowledge for granted, he later rekindled his passion for coding during his university years. Ajiboye’s expertise in cryptocurrency and software development led him to co-author “The Little Bitcoin Book: Why Bitcoin Matters for Your Freedom, Finances, and Future.” As a thought leader in the African tech scene, he advocates for the transformative power of technology and cryptocurrency in addressing financial challenges.
