Robert Greene, author of The 48 Laws of Power

Robert Greene is a bestselling American author known for his provocative books on strategy, power, and human nature. Born in 1959, Greene studied classical studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison before working various jobs, including as a construction worker, translator, and Hollywood screenwriter. His breakthrough came in 1998 with “The 48 Laws of Power,” which became an international bestseller and caught the attention of celebrities and business leaders.

Greene has since authored six additional books, including “The Art of Seduction,” “The 33 Strategies of War,” and “The Laws of Human Nature,” all drawing on historical examples to illustrate timeless principles of human behaviour. A student of Zen Buddhism and fluent in five languages, Greene lives in Los Angeles with his partner, filmmaker Anna Biller. Despite suffering a serious stroke in 2018, he continues to write and influence readers worldwide with his insights on power dynamics and success strategies.
