Marc Randolph is a veteran Silicon Valley entrepreneur, advisor, and investor. As co-founder and first CEO of Netflix, he laid the groundwork for a service that revolutionized the way people consume media, ultimately serving more than 150 million subscribers worldwide. After leaving Netflix, Randolph founded or co-founded six other successful startups, mentored hundreds of early-stage entrepreneurs, and invested in numerous tech ventures. He is a frequent speaker at industry events, works extensively with young entrepreneur programs, and sits on the boards of several tech startups and philanthropic organizations. In his book "That Will Never Work," Randolph shares the untold story of Netflix's early days, offering valuable insights into innovation, risk-taking, and perseverance in the face of skepticism. When not traveling the world for speaking engagements, Randolph can be found biking the mountains surrounding his home in Santa Cruz, California.
