Joshua Dorkin is the founder and former CEO of BiggerPockets, a leading real estate investing platform with over 2.5 million members. He bootstrapped the company from a hobby website to a multimillion-dollar enterprise over 14 years, revolutionizing the real estate investing industry by democratizing knowledge and fostering community. Dorkin created and hosted the BiggerPockets Podcast, one of the top business podcasts globally, for its first 250 episodes. He also spearheaded a successful book publishing division, with many titles becoming Amazon bestsellers in the real estate category.
After exiting BiggerPockets in 2018, Dorkin transitioned to angel investing and advisory roles, mentoring entrepreneurs and serving on company boards. He is passionate about startups, bootstrapping, and public speaking. A graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, Dorkin's diverse background includes experience as a stock trader, actor, and teacher before finding his calling in real estate and entrepreneurship.
