Chad Sanders is an accomplished author, screenwriter, and podcast host, best known for his book Black Magic: What Black Leaders Learned from Trauma and Triumph. He holds a BA in English from Morehouse College, which has significantly contributed to his expertise in storytelling and narrative construction. Sanders has written for prominent TV series on Max and Freeform, and his work has been featured in major publications such as The New York Times, Time, Fortune, Forbes, Deadline, Variety, and The Hollywood Reporter.
Raised in Silver Spring, Maryland, Sanders' experiences as one of the few Black students in predominantly white educational settings deeply influenced his perspectives on race and success. This background inspired him to explore the resilience and strategies of Black leaders in his book, Black Magic. The book delves into the lessons learned from both trauma and triumph, offering a powerful exploration of Black achievement.
In addition to his writing, Sanders hosts the Yearbook podcast on the Armchair Expert network and the Audible Originals podcast, Direct Deposit. He currently resides in New York City, where he continues to engage with diverse media projects and storytelling endeavors
