Zig Zaglar

Hilary Hinton "Zig" Ziglar (1926-2012) was a renowned American author, salesman, and motivational speaker. With a career spanning over five decades, Ziglar became one of the most influential figures in personal development and sales training. After dropping out of college in 1947, he began his career as a cookware salesman, quickly rising through the ranks to become a divisional supervisor. Ziglar's passion for motivational speaking led him to co-found American Salesmasters in 1963, where he began delivering seminars to raise the image of salespeople in America. In 1977, he established Ziglar, Inc., which became a platform for his books, speaking engagements, and training programs. Ziglar authored over 30 books, including the bestseller "See You at the Top," and his work has been translated into numerous languages. A devout Baptist, Ziglar often integrated Christian principles into his motivational teachings. He continued speaking at seminars until his retirement in 2010. Ziglar resided in Plano, Texas, with his wife Jean, to whom he was married for over 65 years.
